Daniel J. Rys, the new president of the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce. |
Bio:
Mr. Daniel Rys has been in Banking and Financial Services for 33 years.
He has been with several banks and financial institutions in
Connecticut and Central Massachusetts, and has led the lending
division and been part of the Senior Management team of two different
Connecticut Banks. He has also experience in Human Resources,
Operations, Compliance, and MIS.
Mr. Rys is currently working for NewAlliance Bank, in their
Manchester Office, as a Vice President and specialized Commercial
Lender, making loans to Condominium Associations in New England.
The new president graduated from Central Connecticut State
University, and has a degree from the National School of Banking
and the Executive Development Program at Fairfield University.
He is a member of South Windsor Rotary, and has chaired and
been a member of various committees within the organization.
He has served on the Economic Development Commission in South
Windsor, and has been a member of various committees, and has
worked with many Chambers of Commerce throughout Connecticut.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and basketball. |
