 Local Translation Company expands its operations in East Hartford.April 8, 2007 - Less than a vear ago, the Town of East Hartford granted Corporate Translations $13,000 to assist it with its relocation from Mansfield Center, CT to its expanded office in East Hartford. Corporate Translations, a leading provider of translation solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, is now expanding its original 9,980 square feet of professional office space In East Hartford, CT to include an additional 1,600 square feet. The newly renovated space includes a state-of-the-art conference room and 16 semi-private offices to accommodate additional linguistic experts, desktop publishers, and project management professionals. Corporate Translations was founded in 1990 bv President Mary Gawlicki, who was recently chosen out of roughly 60 finalists as one of the Hartford Business Journal's 8 Remarkable Women in Business for 2007. The company has experienced significant growth through its seventeen vears in business and is now one of the leading providers of translation solutions to the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech 'industries. Corporate Translations expects to continue its upward trend and anticipates bringing at least twelve new jobs to the immediate area over the next five vears. In addition to the twelve full-time permanent positions, the cotnpany is currently offering internships to local high school students. Their internship program has a proven track record of success.
