Biography:
Gary LeBeau was elected to his second term in the
Connecticut State Senate in November 1998, where he represents the
Third Senatorial District towns of East Hartford, South Windsor, East
Windsor and Ellington. He is currently the Chair of the
Legislature's Commerce Committee, the Vice-chair of the General Law
Committee, and a member of the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee
and the Program Review and Investigation Committee. Senator
LeBeau was first elected to the Connecticut General Assembly in 1990 as
a State Representative from the town of East Hartford. While in the
state House, he served on the Finance Committee and as Vice-chair of
the Commerce Committee.
He resides in East Hartford with his wife Joanne Sullivan LeBeau and
their children Kara, 13, Matthew, 12, and Christopher, 10.

Biography:
Representative Michael Christ has been serving as
a representative of East Hartford's eleventh district for four years,
since 1994. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the General Law
Committee. In addition to his membership of several committees,
Representative Christ also is the Chairman of the Task Force to Study
Railroad Depots and Abandoned Warehousing which led to the
establishment of an enterprise zone for a decaying business area. Prior
to being elected to represent East Hartford's eleventh district,
Representative Christ served for five years (1989-1994) on the East
Hartford Board of Education. He chaired the Facilities Committee and
worked to make school bus travel safer by implementing improvements on
buses. He also served on the Magnet School Task Force which was charge
with creating the state's first interdistrict magnet school in East
Hartford.
Representative Christ is a Sales Associate for ReMax East of the River
in Manchester.

Biography:
Christopher Stone was born in Hartford in 1959
and has been a lifelong resident of East Hartford. He is an active
member of the community serving as the chair of the East Hartford
School/Business Partnership, a member of the East Hartford Rotary and
legal counsel to the East Hartford Chamber of Commerce.
Chris is an attorney in private practice. He and his wife Linda have
three children.

Biography:
Henry Genga has been involved in local and state politics fom more than
30 years. He was elected to the East Hartford Town Council
for
the first time in 1975, and served as the council's majority leader for
a decade. Among many other posts he has held, he served as
East
Hartford Town Treasurer, between 1985 and 1997, and
as Chairman of
the Emergency Medical Commission, between 1977
and 2006.
Genga has worked as a Senior Information Systems
Analyst, at
Travelers, until 1994, and since 1996 works as Business and
Cooperative Work
Experience Instructor and Summer Youth Employment Coordinator, at the
East Hartford High School.
